Description

As the Guest Experience Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for guests visiting or contacting Aspire. You will serve as a guide through “The Experience,” our interactive museum-like journey, particularly catering to groups of young children.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests as they arrive, providing them with information about “The Experience,” and guiding them through each station.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, transfer calls, determine purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.
  • Maintain inventory sold at the front desk and conduct sales of merchandise; ensure safe cash handling and closing of register for individual shifts.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of guests, especially young children, during their visit.
  • Engage with children in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner, fostering a sense of wonder and curiosity throughout “The Experience”.
  • Manage large groups of children, maintaining order, and ensuring that everyone has an enjoyable and educational experience.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling group visits, coordinating with educators or chaperones, and maintaining records related to “The Experience”.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction.
  • Provide support for special events or projects related to “The Experience” or Aspire as needed.
  • Perform basic filing and recordkeeping.
  • Perform all other assigned job-related duties as needed.

Requirements and Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality.
  • Experience working with children, preferable in an educational or recreational setting.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and smile, even in high-pressure or challenging situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in customer service or receptionist role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • May be required to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
